1. Mang nghĩa "có lưu trữ số liệu bằng film / bằng văn bản"
=to record the details of an event, a process, etc / to record something in writing or on film
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- Her report documents the effects of climate change.
- As calculated, out the total 19 locally-acquired cases, 7 were documented in Thanh Khe District, 5 in Lien Chieu District, 4 in Hai Chau District and one each in Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son districts.
- He wrote a book documenting his prison experiences.
- The effects of smoking have been well documented.
2. Mang nghĩa "chứng minh bằng tài liệu; dẫn chứng bằng tài liệu"
=to support something with evidence
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- can you document your claim ? (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: anh có tài liệu chứng minh cho yêu sách của anh hay không?)
- a badly /well documented report (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: bản báo cáo đủ/không đủ tài liệu dẫn chứng)
- His interest in cars has been well-documented (= recorded and written about) by the media.
- Their allegations are fully documented.
