=to give someone something that they need

- to provide somebody with something
- to provide something for somebody
- to provide sth

- the management will provide food and drink (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: ban quản trị sẽ cung cấp thức ăn và nước uống)
- please put your litter in the bin provided (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: xin vui lòng vứt rác vào sọt đã để sẵn)
- the firm have provided me with a car (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: công ty đã cấp cho tôi một chiếc xe ô tô)
- can you provide accommodation for thirty people ? (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: anh lo liệu chỗ ăn ở cho ba mươi người được hay không?)
- This booklet provides useful information about local services.
- All meals are provided at no additional cost.
- The author provides no documentary references to support her assertions.
- We have concerns about whether the government will be able to provide viable social services for poorer families/provide poorer families with viable social services.
- Putting more police on patrol doesn't provide a real solution to the problem of increasing violence.
