II. Cách dùng
Mang nghĩa"người hoặc động vật đã trưởng thành"
=An adult is a fully developed animal/An adult is a mature, fully developed person.
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- ...a pair of adult birds.
- An adult has reached the age when they are legally responsible for their actions.
- Becoming a father signified that he was now an adult.
- Adults will give children lucky money. (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: Người lớn sẽ lì xì cho trẻ em)
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
