I. "flavour" vừa là danh từ đếm được, vừa không đếm được

II. Cách dùng
1. Mang nghĩa "vị ngon, mùi thơm; mùi vị"
=the particular taste that food or drink has / a pleasant or strong taste
IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:
- Với nghĩa này, flavour vừa là danh từ đếm được, vừa không đếm được
- a nutty/spicy/bitter flavour
- a distinctive/delicate/subtle flavour
- have a flavour
- give a flavour
- add flavour
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- The drink has a very strong flavour of citrus fruit.
- Fresh ginger gives an eastern flavour to the dish.
- sweets with different flavours (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: kẹo với nhiều mùi vị khác nhau)
- This beer has no flavour.
- Add flavour to your meal by using more herbs and garlic.
2. [Nghĩa bóng] Mang nghĩa "hương vị phảng phất"
=an idea of what something is like / a particular quality that is typical of something
