II. Cách dùng
1. Mang nghĩa"nghề, nghề nghiệp"
=a job that you need special skills and qualifications to do, especially one with high social status/A profession is a type of job that requires advanced education or training

- the medical/legal/nursing/teaching profession
- in a profession
- member of a profession
- go into/enter/join a profession

- People in my profession have a duty to the public.
- We admit that a few members of our profession have behaved badly.
- Her father discouraged her from going into the legal profession.
- Harper was a teacher by profession.
- Only 20 per cent of jobs in the professions are held by women
2. Mang nghĩa"những người trong nghề, giới"
=all the people who work in a particular profession/You can use profession to refer to all the people who have the same profession.

- Với nghĩa này, profession có thể theo sau động từ số ít hoặc nhiều (can be followed by a singular or plural verb)
