1. Mang nghĩa"lãnh thổ (đất đai thuộc chủ quyền của một nước)"
=an area of land controlled by a particular country, leader, or army

- Với nghĩa này, territory vừa là danh từ đếm được, vừa không đếm được
- occupied territory (=land controlled by enemy soldiers)
