1. Mang nghĩa "tiếp tục một thời gian; kéo dài"
=to continue existing or happening for or until a particular time

- These cars are built to last.
- The game lasts 80 minutes.

- The hearing is scheduled to last for two weeks.
- The violence lasted until dawn the next morning.
2. Mang nghĩa "đủ, còn đủ"
=to continue to be available, or to be enough for what people need

3. Mang nghĩa "đủ mạnh để sống lâu hoặc kéo dài cái gì"
=to continue to stay alive or be well, or to continue to be able to do a job, in spite of difficulties

- He won’t last long as captain if he upsets the rest of the team.
