II. Cách dùng
1. Mang nghĩa "gặp, gặp gỡ"
=to come together in order to talk to someone who you have arranged to see / to see and speak to someone without planning to

- meet for
- meet to do something

- I’ll meet you in the bar later.
- We’re meeting for lunch tomorrow.
- I’d like to meet to talk about your future.
- You’ll never guess who I met on the plane.
2. Mang nghĩa "xin giới thiệu, làm quen (với người nào)"
=to be introduced to someone who you do not know

3. Mang nghĩa "gặp gỡ, tụ họp, họp"
=to come together with other people as a group in order to discuss something formally or officially

=to be waiting for someone when they arrive somewhere

=to get a particular result or reaction

- be met by/with something

6. Mang nghĩa "gặp nhau, nối nhau, tiếp vào nhau"
=if things such as roads, lines, or areas meet, they join each other

=to pay money that is owed or needed for something
