Giải Part 1 topic "Neighbours" IELTS SPEAKING

1. How well do you know the people who live next door to you?

I know the residents living beside my house quite well because we have built a close-knit (gắn bó chặt chẽ - having strong relationships within a group) relationship over the years. We often catch up (gặp gỡ trò chuyện - meet and talk informally) whenever we have free time, which helps us stay connected. For example, we usually chat about daily life when we run into each other in the neighborhood.

2. How often do you see them? Why/Why not?

I see those individuals almost every day because our houses are located very close to each other. Since we share a tight-knit community (cộng đồng gắn kết - a community with strong social bonds), it is quite common for us to cross paths frequently. For instance, I often meet them during my evening walks around the area.>> 🔥 Nhắn zalo 0905834420 join group zalo Hóng đề thi máy 4 skills để cập nhật đề thi thật 4 kĩ năng hằng ngày [Kèm giải & đề làm online]

3. What kinds of problem do people sometimes have with their neighbours?

Conflicts often arise because of noise disturbance (sự làm phiền bởi tiếng ồn - excessive or unwanted noise) or disagreements about shared spaces. Such issues can sometimes crop up (phát sinh - appear unexpectedly) when people have different lifestyles or habits. For example, some residents may play loud music late at night, which can annoy others.

4. How do you think neighbours can help each other?

People living nearby can support one another by creating a mutually beneficial (cùng có lợi - advantageous to both sides) relationship based on trust and cooperation. They can also lend a hand (giúp đỡ - help someone) whenever assistance is needed. For example, someone may help collect parcels for a family that is away from home.

5. Do you invite your neighbours to your home? Why/Why not?

Yes, I occasionally invite them over because it helps strengthen our good-neighbourly (thân thiện với hàng xóm - friendly and supportive towards neighbours) bond. Spending time together allows us to get along with (hòa thuận với - have a friendly relationship with) each other more easily. For example, I sometimes invite them to small gatherings during special occasions.

6. Do you think you are a good neighbour? Why/Why not?

Yes, I believe I am a considerate and community-minded (có ý thức cộng đồng - caring about the welfare of the community) person. I always try to look out for (quan tâm, để ý đến - take care of or protect) the people living around me whenever they need support. For example, I regularly help elderly residents carry heavy groceries.

7. Has a neighbour ever helped you? Why/Why not?

Yes, one of my neighbors has helped me several times, especially during unexpected situations. He is an incredibly warm-hearted (tốt bụng, giàu lòng nhân ái - kind and caring) person who is always willing to step in (can thiệp, giúp đỡ - become involved to help) when necessary. For example, he once drove me to the hospital when I suddenly felt unwell.
