II. Cách dùng
1. Mang nghĩa "nói cho biết, thông tin cho (ai)"
=If you tell someone something, you give them information.

- tell someone something
- tell someone (something) about something
- tell the truth/a lie

2. Mang nghĩa "kể, thuật lại"
=If you tell something such as a joke, a story, or your personal experiences, you communicate it to other people using speech.

3. Mang nghĩa "ra lệnh, bắt ai đó làm theo"

4. Mang nghĩa "khẳng định, quả quyết"
=If you can tell what is happening or what is true, you are able to judge correctly what is happening or what is true.

6. Mang nghĩa "phát giác; mách, tiết lộ"
=to inform someone about something bad that someone else has done
