1. Mang nghĩa "đủ, đầy đủ"
=satisfactory, but not extremely good
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:

- a merely adequate knowledge of the subject
2. Mang nghĩa "tương xứng, xứng đáng; thích hợp"
=good enough or large enough for a particular purpose
