1. Mang nghĩa"về phần tôi, đối với tôi"
=used for emphasizing that you are giving your own opinion
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- Personally, I think we should stick with our original plan.
- Personally speaking /speaking personally, I don't like him at all (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: về phần tôi, tôi không thích anh ta chút nào)
- I personally prefer pizza to burgers.
2. Mang nghĩa"đích thân (không có sự trợ giúp của người khác)"
=without help, or in a direct way, rather than by a representative

- a breakfast personally prepared by a top chef
- Were you personally involved in this decision?
- She presented the prizes personally (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: bà ta đích thân trao tặng giải thưởng)

- I have never met the man personally.
3. Mang nghĩa"với tư cách cá nhân (không đại diện bởi người khác)"
=in a way intended for you only, rather than for a group of people that you belong to

4. Mang nghĩa"bản thân người nào đó"
=used for emphasizing that you do not dislike someone, just something that they do or the group they belong to

5. Mang nghĩa"quen biết ai đó, có mối quan hệ cá nhân"
=as a result of having met someone or of having a relationship with them, usually a friendly one
