1. Compare vừa là ngoại động từ, vừa là nội động từ

2.1. Dùng compare như ngoại động từ
Mang nghĩa "so sánh; ví"
=to examine or look for the difference between two or more things

- compare something with/to something

- Just compare the one that has been cleaned with the others.
- The results are then compared to the results of previous studies.

- compare and contrast (=show how things are similar and how they are different)

2.2. Dùng compare như nội động từ
Mang nghĩa "có thể sánh với ai/cái gì"
=to consider or suggest that something is similar or equal to something else
