1. Mang nghĩa "nhìn vào cái gì và suy ngẫm; ngắm; thưởng ngoạn"
=to look at something or someone for a long time/If you contemplate something or someone, you look at them for a long time.

- He stood contemplating his image in the mirror.
- He contemplated his hands, still frowning.
- she stood contemplating the painting (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: cô ta đứng ngắm bức tranh)
2. Mang nghĩa "suy ngẫm (về cái gì) suy tính; dự tính"
=to consider the possibility of something happening / If you contemplate an action, you think about whether to do it or not
